Located in the state of Mexico, near the Popocatépetl volcano, this house was designed for a family who wanted to have a home where they could spend their weekends.

This property was built on a semi-regular plot of land, leaving a first level for access and parking and a second level for the garden and house layout.

Taking advantage of the location of this house,  resources and materials that were in the area, being  so for its foundation and some wall details volcanic stone was used and leaving all the construction materials as the main finish natural as the block and  brick achieving a contemporary vernacular architecture.
